Capturing the likeness of what’s in front of me see has always been something that fascinates me. Since birth, drawing popular cartoons, and doing art homework (I know) would give me so much energy. I would draw and draw and draw, being driven to get one step closer to perfection (the never ending quest).

Eventually I would go on to study Art at University, specialising in Animation. After this my pursuit of portraiture continued exploring many styles and art mediums. Pencil, charcoal, watercolours, digital you name it.

Painting dogs has been a very particular journey. Dogs have so much character and emotion. For this purpose I love the watercolour style and think it is the perfect fit. I can genuinely say it is a great feeling when their personality really has been brought to life.

The hope is to always bring joy to their owner in a way they’ve not experienced before. This to me is a collaboration between dog owner and myself to create, a once in a lifetime moment.

It is always a pleasure to be given the chance to explore, challenge my perceptions and make someone happy along the way.
